Hi! I’m Jacqui, MSW, RSW (she/they), a queer therapist in Saskatoon who provides affirming and trauma-informed therapy for queer and trans folks (18+), as well as folks navigating trauma, grief, life transitions, self-criticism, identity exploration, and more. As a queer person myself, I aim to create a space where people from all gender identities and sexual orientations feel cared for, affirmed, connected, and understood.
I have training in a variety of therapeutic approaches and draw primarily from Queer Theory-Informed Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Affirmative Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (ACBT). I have also been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a trauma therapy that can help people process traumatic experiences.
I graduated with my Master of Social Work through the University of Regina in 2026, where I completed a practicum at the University of Saskatchewan with intensive supervision. My area of focus was providing Queer Theory-Informed Narrative Therapy to university students of various gender identities and sexual orientations. I have also worked as a Social Worker in Community Mental Health since 2021 in various therapy related roles, providing both group therapy and individual therapy to adults.
